Organic Village Committe is a non-profit, non-political community based organiztion established with a goal to create a self-sustaining mountain community. The main objective of the organization is to promote farmers towards organic farming methods. The other objectives is biodiversity conservation, ecotourism promotion and climate change mitigation through the use of renewable energy resources.
LEAD mission is to create, strengthen and support networks of people and institutions promoting change towards sustatianable development that is economically sound, environmentally reponsible and socially equitable.
Rangers' Association of Nepal (RAN) is the professional organization of forest rangers in Nepal. Established on September 5, 1990, RAN has now 723 life members and working committees in all 75 districts of Nepal, 2 working committees in Institute of Forestry (IOF) and 1 department committee in Department of Forest (DOF).
