Schedule and Resources

The consultation will span the week of 17-21 October 2005. However, it will be possible to send comments also during the following week of 24-28 October 2005, to allow more time for those of us who might not be available during the consultation.

Moderator: Dr. Peter Trutmann, Coordinator, Global Mountain Program

The language of the moderation will be English. However, for those of you who might have difficulty participating in English, efforts will be made to translate Spanish and French comments.

Topic 1: Priorities for Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development in Mountains

Priorities in the thematic area have been developed on a relatively ad-hoc basis. This discussion and background papers will be a way of ensuring that the priorities set by the group build on those already agreed in previous priority-setting consultations.
