I have completed my BSc and MSc in Forestry from Department of Forestry and Environmental Science, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh. Later I did my second master in Ecohydrology under Erasmus Mundus Master scholarship funded by European Union. .My previous study and research background includes coupled human and natural system dynamics with particular emphasis on sustainable use, management, conservation of biodiversity and forests. I have been conducting research on ethnobotany, non-timber forest products, forest-based rural livelihoods, forest-based small-scale enterprises, agroforestry, protected areas and ecotourism development, adaptation to climate change through indigenous knowledge, landuse change analysis through GIS and Remote sensing. At present my research focus is watershed management, hydrological modelling and forest hydrology.
