Alma works for the Central Asian Hub of Mountain Partnership hosted by the University of Central Asia in Kyrgyzstan, as Communication Officer. She graduated from the Kyrgyz National University in 1987 and then earned her Master degree at the Kyrgyz Academy of Management. Alma has the background of working experience in different national NGOs, engaged in rural development and implementation of projects funded by international donors. The previous employer was the Public Foundation CAMP Alatoo (Central Asian Mountain Partnership), where Alma worked as projects coordinator, being responsible for communications, CAMP Forum and PR. Born in Kyrgyzstan, Alma speaks Russian, English, Kyrgyz and Kazakh.
