Swiss-Austrian Mountain Days 2013

The Swiss and Austrian Alps are moving closer – at least in terms of research! To foster existing partnerships and to develop new research collaborations between the two Alpine countries, the first Swiss-Austrian Mountain Days will be organized for the mountain research community to capitalize on the Swiss-Austrian Alliance for Mountain Research. The CH–AT Alliance was endorsed by the Swiss State Secretariat for Research and Education and the Austrian Ministry of Science and Research in October 2011. The Swiss-Austrian Mountain Days will serve as a participatory event to achieve these goals.
The Mountain Days 2013 address mountain researchers working in Switzerland and/or Austria, including early-career scientists, to share their visions and experience. Representatives from policy and practice, and other end-users of scientific information, are invited to enter the dialogue.
The languages of the Mountain Days are German and English (without simultaneous translation). Accordingly, proposals can be submitted in German and English.
