Final conference "Looking up, reaching out - new horizons in communicating mountain research"

The mountain.TRIP final conference "Looking up, reaching out - new horizons in communicating mountain research" will be held on the 17 November 2011 in Brussels.

During the two years of mountain.TRIP, we have identified EU-funded mountain research and developed and tested various communication products which can serve a better knowledge exchange between science and practice in European mountains. The final conference will present our main findings and lessons learned. The event will also feature a multimedia fair, where practical examples of how research results can be transformed to better reach their target audience will be presented.

The conference is open to researchers, mountain scientists, policy makers working on mountain issues, regional practitioners and the civil society.
