Ganesh Himal is a range of mountains to the northwest of Kathmandu, reaching an altitude of 7,402 m. The paper describes some of the many features of the physical (abiotique) sphere (e.g. exposure, topography, climatology etc.), the biological (biotique) sphere (i.e. flora and fauna) and the cultural (anthropique) sphere of the region, and the interrelationships between them.
