As the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development comes closer, it is now possible to vote for some recommendations to be present at the final meetings. These 100 proposed statements were discussed online by more than ten thousand participants from 206 countries, and picked from a total of 843.
The topics involved include Unemployment, decent work and migrations; Oceans; Forests; Food and Nutrition Security; Sustainable Development for fighting poverty and as an answer for fighting economic and financial crises; Sustainable Energy for All; Sustainable Cities and Innovation; Economics of Sustainable Development, including patterns of production and consumption; and Water.
The most popular 30 recommendations will be conveyed directly to world leaders at the Rio+20 meetings. You can vote at the Rio Dialogues site until June 15th.
