The mission of Vista 360° is to help mountain communities preserve their cultural identity and environmental integrity while enjoying full participation in the global society of the 21st century. We serve this mission by working primarily in the cultural sphere to strengthen the vitality and adaptability of mountain biocultures. Our primary strategy is to foster cooperation among mountain people on the community level. Our program design is based on the belief that cooperation and collaboration among mountain cultures around the world will be vital to help mountain communities respond to these unprecedented 21st century challenges with collective wisdom.
