Uganda Martyrs University Research Directorate

Uganda Martyrs University has the mandate to train, conduct research and disseminate technologies. It has due respect for nature as stated in its mission statement. It is committed to offering relevant education to stakeholders in the Eastern Africa Region and overseas, through networking with other centres of academic excellence. The University has a Faculties of Science, Agriculture, Health Science, Built Environment, Education, Business Administration and management, and an Institute of Ethics and Development Studies. Through research appropriate knowledge is generated and shared with students, and farmers through our outreach activities coordinated under the Out Reach Directorate. The human being is looked at in a holistic manner, and therefore relevant education is given to our clients to be job creators and not seekers, as well as to be relevant to meeting existing market demand.
