State Nature Conservancy of the Slovak Republic

State Nature Conservancy of the Slovak Republic is a unitary governmental organization for implementation of the nature and landscape protection in Slovakia, established in 2000 as an advisory body of the Ministry of Environment.Its role is to serve as a technical institution for implementation of the relevant legislative measures and international obligations. Its structure consists of 25 branches and Velka Fatra NP Administration is one of them, situated in NW Slovakia in the Carpathian mountains.
