South Asia Biodiversity Vigilance Network
South Asia Bio-diversity Vigilance Network (SABViN) is a non profit non governmental public environment and consumer awareness organization. Established in 06th September 2008 Kathmandu, Nepal. SABViN sharing responsibility for the welfare of all humanity, including that of future generations and with a sense of renewed responsibility for long-term protection of local national and regional ecosystems and sustainable consumption patterns. Board base mission of the organization is conserving the biological resources of entire south Asia while initiating prompt action in cases of abuse and create awareness among the consumer population of the region. SABViN places special significance in sharing knowledge and experiences of all stake-holders in regard to relevant issues and problems.
The SABViN will coordinate with conservationists, scientists, government agencies N.G.O's C.B.O's and individuals who are show an interest in this field in the South Asian region with particular reference to sharing and exchanging indigenous and modern knowledge and wile initiating joint action to safeguard the environment prevents bio-piracy and abuses of patents etc.
