DIOCECIAN SOCIAL SERVICE CENTRE In the year 1993-94, the Diocese of Berhampur had registered an independent social service society called “ Society for Welfare, Animation and Development ” SWAD, having it’s administrative office at Rayagada, which is centrally located and having road and rail connectivity to most of the districts of the diocese. VISION STATEMENT OF SWAD To build a just, equitable, harmonious & self-reliant society rooted in gospel values. MISSION STATEMENT OF SWAD To promote the human dignity of all --- especially that of the marginalized communities -- tribals, dalits, women & children --- through a process of empowerment SWAD AREA OF COVERAGE ?
