Resources Centre for Sustainable Development

RCSD was established in 29 August 2004, to work with a Geographical focus in the Eastern Himalayan Region and concentrates on scientific and participatory research and extension to address issues of poverty, energy and water crisis, loss of biodiversity and climate change. RCSD’s emphasizes in promoting Indigenous peoples knowledge, skills and stewardship in managing the local land and ecosystem for sustainable use. With a firm belief and commitments towards sustainable development, RCSD seeks partnership amongst user groups, CBOs, NGOs, Donors, Govt. Agencies and other partners in its battle towards sustainable development, for delivering a more environmentally stable, just and healthier world.
