Invitation: Mountain Day 2 at the UNFCC DOHA COP 18, Monday, 3 December 2012

The International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) and the Mountain Partnership Secretariat (MPS)/FAO are jointly organizing the “Mountain Day 2” event during the upcoming COP18 of the UNFCCC in Doha.  Please find attached the Flyer of the event and the tentative programme. We are pleased to extend an invitation to all the COP18 delegates as well as others who will be in Doha around this time to join us and make this event a grand success.

Please be advised that UNFCCC accreditation is not required to participate in the Mountain Day2. We would appreciate if you could register for the event at www.icimod.org/?q=8898. For the ease of the COP18 delegates, we have arranged for a special shuttle bus service between the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) and the venue of the Mountain Day 2 event – Intercontinental Doha between 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The event will be followed by a reception dinner.
