International Seminar on Protected Area Management
We are pleased to announce the 2006 International Seminar on Protected Area Management held August 2-19 at the University of Montana, USA. The program is initiated and organized by the USDA Forest Service Office of International Programs and the Universities of Montana, Idaho and Colorado State. Now in its seventh year, over 130 individuals representing 52 nations have participated in the Seminar.
The Seminar is a technical and professional course designed for mid-career planners and managers of nationally significant protected areas worldwide. Participants will evaluate policies and institutional arrangements that sustain both people and natural resources.
