International Mountain Summit

The International.Mountain.Summit is an independent international platform which discusses, celebrates and casts a new light on the mountains in all their different facets. As diverse as their admirers and climbers, the mountains are both living space for people and a habitat for nature. At the same time, they have significant market potential and offer individual challenges. Being one of nature's incredible marvels, they open the eyes of individuals and leave their mark on entire cultures.

The IMS is the ideal setting for a unique summit event which unites the world's best mountaineers, climbers and insiders in an open "contest of ideas". Fusing diverse topics as well as generations and opinions, the IMS offers a common ground for literally everyone who shares our passion for the mountains.

Thanks to its location in the heart of the Alps, South Tyrol is the perfect host for this comprehensive mountain festival. With the city of Bressanone/Brixen, the IMS has chosen a very special venue at the foot of a stunning and proud UNESCO World Heritage Site: the Dolomites. Tradition and hospitality alongside with the city’s conquering charm make for a cosy atmosphere which adds to the special setting of the IMS.
