IAMRA is a research institute of Chilecito National University. Main objective are mountain and arid environments; and investigation is focused on geomorphology, hydrology, geology, biology, agronomy, climatology and ecology of these areas. Hydrologic and geomorphologic survey, environmental assessment, climatic changes and bioclimatic studies and biologic plague control, are our most important topics. Moreover, Ecosystems and biodiversity conservation and Human-natural environment relationships are in our priorities.
