Following a brief overview of gender and climate policy, the discussion will focus on gender, mitigation, and adaptation with attention to women’s grassroots and professional leadership. While the presentation focuses on women in the United States, participants are warmly invited to share international experiences and global strategies for linking gender justice, climate justice, and disaster risk reduction.
