Fundacja Rozwoju Ziem Górskich (Foundation for Developement of Mountain Areas)

Fundacja Rozwoju Ziem Gorskich is a non-profit organisation working to preserve the heritage and develop rural communities in Polish Carpathians. We promote development respectful of natural, spiritual and cultural values of region. We nurture partnership among citizens, local and regional governments, and businesses in the region (Leader +). We participate in the creation of development policies of the Stary Sacz Comune, Beskid Sadecki and other parts of Carpathians. Our consulting services include assistance to rural microregions in designing their own economic and social development strategies. We regulary conduct Mountain Expeditions to the mountains regions on all continents.The main goal is to prepare the microregions for a successful absorption of structural funds of the European Union. We are open for partnership cooperation in international mountain projects.
