Fundación Estación Biológica Guayacanal

We are a nonprofit organization devoted to research, advising, develop and spreading in ecological restoration, land planning, urban ecology and green architecture. Our main subjects comprise urban protected areas, cities and mountains, wetlands and forests restoration, and environmental management of mining projects and urban settlements. We work on a wide variety of ecosystems in Colombia and neighbor countries. Our approach is based on local communities empowerment, strategic use of biodiversity and ecological understanding of anthropic transformations. Our slogan: "Getting back to nature, getting nature back, doesn't mean turning back. It means to create a new harmony when everything has changed".
