Fokida Initiative

“Fokida Initiative” constitutes an innovative partnership between a private company and the local authorities of Fokida (a mountainous prefecture of Greece) and is directly linked to the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The mission of the organization is to foster sustainable development in Fokida, to improve the quality of life and to boost socially responsible economic development for the benefit of the local community and the Greek province as well. For the systematic development of its activities, the following two workgroups have been formed: WG1: “Mountain Ranges” in 2004 and WG2:”Olive Tree” in 2003.
