EMICT-Forum: European Mountain ICT Forum comming soon

The EMICT-Forum has gathered 120 mountain stakeholders, at Seynod (near Annecy, High Savoyen), in the French Alps, on November 9th and 10th, 2011.

A large proportion of elected representatives from European mountain areas have been there. Union bodies and, local and European associations fighting for the e-inclusion of mountain territories have also been represented. Academic experts have also been involved : The Mountain Institute or the Perth University. Digital businesses and professional organizations have created private-public partnerships. Moreover, infrastructure companies or companies working on the digital uses (broadband deployment, e-economy, e-health, e-education or e-tourism) have shared their expertise with all the European elected representatives.
