Ecological Association of Nepal

Ecological understanding is critical for developing environmental policies and to manage natural resources for the benefit of man. Complex ecological processes, which include human activities and vary over a long period demand sustained ecological research. This requires commitment of different research institutions, management agencies linked by specific organization with specific interest. This is where ECOAN fits with its main purpose of unifying ecological science, stimulating research, facilitating communication among ecologists and promoting the application of ecological research and principles of the solution of environmental problems on biodiversity, sustainability, and global change.
