Deutsche Gesellschaft für Petroikonologie e.V.

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Petroikonologie e.V. (German Society for Petroiconology reg. ass.) is a national research society working in the field of rock art as well as related archaeological and anthropological studies. In principle, her focus is global, however, her members chiefly work on rock images of Eurasia, Europe, Western Asia and North Africa. DGP is Germany's national member organisation of the International Federation of Rock Art Organizations (IFRAO).
