Decision to evacuate (or not) under the volcanic risks: A view from Merapi

This draft paper discusses the factors influencing the decision to evacuate under the volcanic risk in Merapi Volcano, Indonesia. This paper shows that in some cases cultural factors play less significant role but not always. People’s understanding and the environmental cues can play a significant role too.
