CARAVAN is a Sub National NGO, with headquarters in Swat District of the NWFP Pakistan. Established by renowned social workers and development professionals from NWFP in the year 1998, CARAVAN is registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. Dedicated to promote participatory social and economic development, CARAVAN is a technical, facilitative and organizational support institution, providing services to the communities through CBOs, to harness their potential and capabilities to promote self-supporting system of community development. With the whole of NWFP as its jurisdiction, the NGO has been working in Swat district since 1998.
