Climate Smart Agriculture Learning Platform (CSALP) for South Asia Launched

Recognizing the knowledge gap between the existing evidence of climate change and adaptation on the ground, CGIAR Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) South Asia launched a novel learning platform to improve agricultural resilience to changing weather patterns, and to reduce emissions footprint. The platform aims to encourage communication between policymakers, political leaders, researchers, farmers and civil society.

His Excellency President of Nepal, Dr. Ram Baran Yadav launched the platform in Kathmandu and released the first issue of CSALP South Asia’s Quarterly newsletter. More can be found at: http://ccafs.cgiar.org/where-we-work/south-asia &
