BASC was established as a component of the Industrial Promotion Project (IPP) under an agreement between Govt. of Bangladesh and USAID in 1991 & in 1993 it was registered as a private company. USAID funded up to 1998. SDC assisted BASC for institutional strengthening and implemented a DFID, UK assisted project. BASC in-house personnel are currently extending professional services in different donor funded projects and private sector. BASC is now a leading BDS provider in Bangladesh with clear focus to Industry and Agriculture by extending services like: Training, Business Counselling, Consultancy, Business Information, Tech Transfer, market linkages and Business Incubator.
