ASTERS, Conservatoire des espaces naturels de Haute-Savoie

ASTERS is the departmental conservatory of the nature sites in Haute-Savoie (North of the Alps). Our goals are to preserve and promote the natural patrimony in Haute-Savoie. ASTERS is a technical non-profit making organisation. Our main actions are : expertise and inventory of natural habitat, management of the 9 nature reserves in Haute-Savoie, technical help to the local authorities. We work on the international level too : Life project on the reintroduction of the bearded vulture in the Alps, cooperation within Interreg project with other protected areas.
