Association of Sheperds from West Balkan Mountain in Bulgaria

The Association of farmers involved in sheep breeding in areas with high nature value was established in January 2009 with the following agenda: 1. defend small and medium size farmers' interests at government level; 2. provide up to date information to its members on various topics, such as EU subsidies, market opportunities, etc.; 3. take advantage of scale economy when negotiating sale price of produce or purchase price of furrage and other goods.
