Association for the Protection of Ehden highlands and Makmel mountain

Our association tends to provide support for environment by preserving marginal lands and protecting what remains of wildlife beauty in Lebanon. We also carry on activities related to biodiversity conservation and fully active in the management of Horsch Ehden protected area in northern Lebanon. Also, we do defend the status of Wadi Qadisha as world heritage site against mismanagement and illegal activities which are affecting its membership in the UNESCO, trying to raise consciousness among communities there for the importance of preserving the Holly Valley and of what remains of natural biodiversity sites in Lebanon
