Asociación Ancash

The Ancash Association (AA) is a private no-profit organization working for the conservation of the world´s highest tropical glaciar ecosystem, and habitat of ancient Andean cultures. The AA supports local community initiatives through funding of community initiatives to promote their sustainable devbelopment. We are supporting over 200 projects in the following areas: organic sustainable mountain agriculture, high altitude livestock sustainable development, craft fishing, education, health, community based sustainable tourism, cultural heritage, arts and craftsmanship
