Alpine Club of Iran

The Alpine Club of Iran (Anjoman Kuhnavardan Iran) is a non-govermmental and non-profit organization founded in 2000 representing Iranian mountaineering community.

Its goals to achieve are: to promote sport cooperation, and strengthen friendly relations between mountaineers; study of mountaineering and mountains by establishing an information center, a library, and through publications and meetings; attempt to conserve the mountain wilderness; support mountaineers, Mountaineering clubs, and good-style mountaineering programs; and participations in mountain rescue activities.
