  • To form and train the actors of development with a methodological support to development organisations from the South and the North.
  • Raising awareness within the Belgian population to the problematic of sustainable development, to the realities of the South and the North-South relations with, as a priority targeted public, the students from Gembloux Agro-Bio tech (GxABT) and the the youth of the Gembloux entity.

At thematic level, the engaged actions are concerning by priority agriculture production and favour:

  • The support to organizing agriculture producers,
  • The backing to a sound and varied agriculture in a perspective of food sovereignty,
  • To support the development of short channels (network) assuring better outlet and a wider added value for the producers.

At geographical level, two areas of concentration have been selected, taking into account the necessity to know well the context of intervention and to be close to the partners. Those two are the Andean Area of Latin America and West Africa from Senegal. ADG continue as well to support its partners of Sri Lanka and Cambodia where the association is thinking to increase its activities in order to create there a third area of geographical concentration.
